Our loving Heavenly Father, Creator and Sustainer of all! These days are so busy, filled with important things, but trivial in light of eternity. May I keep my eyes on you and focus on eternal priorities.
You’ve promised wisdom if we ask with a right heart attitude. Like David I ask that you “Create in me a pure heart, oh Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit in me.” (Psalm 51:10)
I am trusting your Holy Spirit to make my heart pure, my conscience clean, and my faith sincere (1 Timothy 1:5) so that I will have wisdom from you to differentiate between my desires and the good work you have for me to do.
I pray these things in your Son’s name, Amen.
