Read Ezekiel 25,26,27
If forgot to post some geographical info yesterday so I will add it here. It is good to identify these regions today so you can see that for 1000’s of years these fights with Israel still exist.
Chp 25, Ammon, Moab, Seir, and Edom are all in modern day Jordan. Philistia is the Gaza Strip.
Chp 26, 27, & 28 mention Tyre. This is near Beirut, Lebanon.
In Chp 30, Cush is Sudan, Put is Libya and Lud is Turkey. Babylon is Iraq.
Today’s overview
Ezekiel 25-28 shifts from warning Judah to announcing God’s judgments on the hostile nations that encircled Israel. While Judah is under siege, Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia and especially Tyre gloat and prosper—but only for a moment. God exposes their pride, idolatry and cruelty, promises their downfall, and reminds His people that He still controls history and still intends to bring them home. The message: every nation and every heart will answer to the Lord, and we can know Him either through
discipline or through humble trust.
God’s covenant word to Abraham still stands: blessing for those who bless Israel, curse for those who curse her.
God disciplines His people but never abandons His redemptive plan to restore them. That’s you and I!!! Praise God!!!
