Recovery Wednesday

It’s a new day, Sisters!!

It’s not uncommon for us to have days of doubt. We can be doing great, growing in our walk, keeping the faith, and feeling good about our direction. Then something happens to question our self-worth, which can spiral into other negative thoughts.

This is the time to strengthen your faith and realize it’s the adversary planting a negative seed.

Don’t sit in it alone, seek a sister in Christ for guidance and reassurance that you ARE God’s daughter.

Read scripture, pray, and journal.
Deuteronomy 31:6
“Do not fear the road ahead, for God walks with you. His hand will guide you and His grace will sustain you through every trial.”

We have choices. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and shut down.

So when this happens, remember, it’s only temporary-tomorrow is a new day!

Take that step forward, one day at a time.

I found this prayer one day when I was feeling down, like a failure and unworthy. I read this, prayed & phoned a friend. It really does make a difference.

from The Power of Prayer Facebook page:
“Be still and remember who I am. What feels heavy today will not last forever. I am restoring what was lost, healing what was wounded, and strengthening you for what’s ahead. You are not behind, forgotten, or overlooked. Every step you take in faith matters to Me. Even when you feel weak, My power is at work within you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. I am turning this around for your own good. Walk forward with courage. Amen”

Have a great week Sisters!
