About the song AGNUS DEI
Agnus Dei is Latin for “Lamb of God” and refers to Jesus Christ, Who is portrayed as the sacrificial lamb that takes away the sins of the world. This biblical meaning is rooted in Old Testament prophecies and is explicitly stated by John the Baptist when he famously identified Jesus, saying,
