As King David prayed so many centuries ago, we ask for your comfort and protection Father God.
It seems that truth is seen as subjective and open to interpretation, based on feelings and circumstances. But we know Your truth is the only truth.
Lord, surround us with Your presence. Help us to hold onto Your truth and protect us from the deceit in the world and those that call evil good and good evil. May our words be a light to the world and may we represent Your truth.
Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and keep us from speaking falsely. May we honor You with our words and actions, speaking truth with kindness.
We thank You that Your Word is never changing, You are trustworthy, never failing, and we can depend on You and Your promises. We thank You for Jesus, who is our salvation.
