Our gracious El Shaddai (Almighty God), our country is in your hands, as are our leaders, whose heads you turn.
Proverbs 21:1: “The king’s heart is in the hands of the Lord. Like rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes.” So we trust you and rest, knowing nothing happens without you knowing and controlling the outcome.
Also, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as did the Palmist (122:6). We also pray that we would be your humble servants, turn away from sin and be a light shining in this dark world.
Thank you for your gracious free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.
