Dear Lord Jesus, we commemorate this day, your sacrificial death on our behalf. We grieve over our sin, yet we are grateful you covered our sin by paying the penalty on that cruel cross. Yet, without your resurrection from the dead, your death would have no power over sin. So, as we reflect on the meaning of this day, we also know that Sunday is coming! Amen and amen!
