A biblical home is a Christ-centered sanctuary focused on glorifying God,
fostering spiritual growth, serving others, through love, hospitality, and
daily prayer.
Key principles include, establishing a foundation on scripture Matthew 7:24-27. Practicing intentionality in godliness. 1Timothy 6:11 and cultivating unity and peace.
Practical Steps to Cultivate a Godly Home.
*Dedication: set the home apart for God’s service, as in Joshua 24:15 “as for me and my household we will serve the Lord”
*Prioritize Unity: avoid division, as a house divided cannot stand Mark 3:25.
*A place of refuge and healing: the home should be a safe, peaceful, and loving environment offering rest and comfort to family members.
*Create a serving atmosphere: focus on kindness, humility, and selflessness
rather than pride.
*Intentional teaching: actively train children in the ways of the Lord.
*Active spiritual discipline: regularly reading the word and praying together.
*Pursue: righteousness, faith, love, and gentleness.
*Roles and relationships: fulfilling biblical roles…Ephesians 5:22-27
with mutual respect, love, and forgiveness Colossians 3:13-14.
Lord build in me a heart that values what is eternal. Make me a woman who doesn’t chase temporary things,
but pursues what truly matters.
